Come early to meet up with other liked minded people. There will be snacks provided and lots of info before the meeting starts. Also, we will have some giveaways so it's a chance to take something home with you. Be in your seats promptly at 6:00 as you won't want to miss a word these people share.

First, we will get an update from the Johnson County Housing Authority on the status of the Landlord incentive Program. Remember, you can get up to 2 months extra rent for opting into the housing choice voucher program for the first time. This has really increased the number of participating Landlords. They will give us an update on the success of the program and let us know if there's any other information we need. 

Then we will get an update from Kyle Henry with Blue Valley Insurance. Have you seen your insurance costs rise? Kyle will let us know why this is and what we should do about it. He will provide us advice on how to keep your costs lower and still choose the correct coverage. I'm sure he'll be willing to answer any questions you have as well. 

This is our last meeting of the year so let's make it a good one. We don't meet in January so our next member meeting will take place Feb. 5th. See you then.
