Landlords of JoCo is hitting the road. We are hosting a special event for those that want to learn more about the ins and outs of a house. ACM home inspections has a property that they have turned into a training facility. Join us for donuts and coffee and come see this one time opportunity. The staff will be on site to show us different aspects of the house and answer questions. See the following information for more on what to expect. This is a casual viewing and you can come and go. It is not the actual training, but just an opportunity to see some hands on aspects of a structure. 

Gain invaluable experience through practical, on-site training, in a REAL home with REAL defects. Our facility includes examples of hazardous electrical panels, asbestos, lead pipe/paint and termite damage. We have a water heater and furnace opened up to demonstrate parts and we even have a crawl space (for those daring enough to enter) structural issues and the drainage that caused it.

Christian Amend is the dedicated instructor and founder behind KCIU. An Air Force Veteran and Licensed Engineer, Christian brings both technical expertise and a passion for helping others succeed in the home inspection field. After relocating from Washington to Kansas City, he launched his inspection business, ACM Home Inspection, from scratch, growing it into a trusted and thriving company in just a few short years.

Christian’s experience, from military service, construction and entrepreneurial success, equips him to teach more than just the technical aspects of home inspection. He shares his firsthand knowledge on building a reputable business, creating client trust, and leveraging a strong work ethic to thrive in a competitive industry. At KCIU, Christian’s mission is to provide students with a clear path to a fulfilling career and the skills to succeed from day one.
